An Anecdote – The ‘strange’ meeting
Bombay was a city that I loved to visit twice a year, during Diwali & Summer vacations. I loved Bombay because of two reasons – firstly, my dear grandma pampered me with chats and yummy handmade pickles and kindness. Secondly, it was a family visit and I looked forward to such visits as a child. There is also a third factor that left a scar on my young heart but with time, I accepted it.
To reach Bombay, we had to take a connecting train from Solapur Junction. There was a waiting time of 2-3 hours before we could board the train. While waiting, my mother would pull me, my brother and dad to talk a man. The man was of similar age of dad and wore thick moustache. He would welcome us with warm smile. The interaction between the man and my mother lasted not more than fifteen minutes. In each talk, I heard them inviting each other to their home. But the invitation just remained in words.
As I grew up and gained maturity, I inquired about the man to my dad. What I heard from my dad left me into sea of surprise. The man my mother met every time on the railway station was the first proposal for marriage. The man now was a station master. I couldn’t agree on thinking that one would meet once you get rejected! When I asked my dad, how could you be alright about it? He asked me, what’s wrong in meeting a good human being? My father surely had a big heart!
I know it was a strange thinking on my part and I must confess that initially I found it hard to accept it. But with time, I learned to accept it. It was hard to understand, accept and appreciate but it was possible as I grew up. This is only possible if one could appreciate the below quote.
“Peace is nothing but a time between a war.”
Creativity: Lost & Found
Rudimentary education believes in “marks” but has strong under layered need for creativity by the one who believes in it. Because of a greater need to present to the society a story of success, “marks” takes precedence to “creativity”. As the latter is uncertain, demands uncertain time, patience, humility, and constructive criticism that often society (and intent of himself or herself) do not prefer to wait! Hence the creativity is often suppressed and crushed.
In order to appreciate the creativity, which has a spirit of doing mistakes; and where mistakes are seen as good. Trying till you feel succeeded! This is something one like to do because it has personal success and it made sense in getting it they way one liked to do. But in reality often people do that made no sense. Sometimes we do because others are doing it! There is a need to go back to roots that allowed to use the resources to build and that become another resource. There is definite need that can transform everyday life. For example, child play with sand at the shore to build a home or create a pool for storage of water. Child did it naturally that needed minimal inputs from the learned person. This doesn’t mean there isn’t need of techniques or intervention when we would like to bring it a magnitude of reality. But those are the challenges that are naturally bound to happen as well. Creativity isn’t linear but jaded!

You can either build a robot using customized building blocks or take help of 3d printer. Next the basic of electronics is taught using plug and play sensors. Then comes the software part; any project can be operated in 2 ways. One is using the QtPi App and another is programming the motherboard by Snap4Arduino software. Then integrate all the parts together and enjoy playing with the robot.
